Clinical Note Tool

A local-first documentation assistant designed to help clinicians organize and streamline clinical note writing.

Overview

Clinical Note Tool is a lightweight web-based application designed to support clinicians in creating organized documentation templates and improving workflow efficiency.

The project was created to explore ways that technology can assist clinicians while keeping the user in control of their documentation process.

The goal is not to replace clinical judgment or professional documentation standards, but to provide a flexible workspace for organizing clinical information.

This project follows a few guiding principles:

Local-first: User data should remain under the user's control.
Simple: The tool should reduce friction rather than add complexity.
Flexible: Clinicians should be able to adapt templates to their own workflow.
Transparent: The tool should support clinical thinking, not replace it.
